The University of Paderborn awards the Pupils Award for outstanding achievements in the natural sciences to approximately 300 students in the 8th and 9th grades of high schools and comprehensive schools. Each student receives a certificate and a prize of 75 euros for their exceptional achievements.
With this award, the University of Paderborn is investing in the future. The students have the opportunity to discover their talents early on and further develop them during their studies. “Germany needs the next generation of talent, especially in the fields of science and technology,” says University Vice President Rüdiger Kabst. That is why it is important to spark interest and curiosity in these fields while students are still at school.
The CLAAS Foundation invites the award-winning students to the Day of Agricultural Engineering in Harsewinkel. There, they will experience how scientific and technical knowledge is put into practice in agricultural technology.
